Kill Zone Pivots + Breakout Reversal Detector is a confluence-based intraday overlay that combines session structure, pivot tracking, move analysis, and breakout reversal detection into a single tool.

The indicator is built on a simple principle: the best intraday trades happen when TIMING, LEVELS, TRIGGER, and CONTEXT all align. Each module handles one of these jobs, and together they form a complete decision framework for intraday traders.

This indicator does not guarantee profits and past performance is not indicative of future results. Always use proper risk management.


█ HOW IT WORKS

The indicator has three modules that work together:

1 — Kill Zone Sessions
Highlights five key trading sessions as colored boxes on the chart: Asia (20:00–00:00), London (02:00–05:00), NY AM (09:30–11:00), NY Lunch (12:00–13:00), and NY PM (13:30–16:00). All times are in the selected timezone (default: America/New_York).

Each session’s high and low are tracked as pivot lines that extend forward until price trades through them (mitigates them). These pivots act as support and resistance levels for future sessions.

Additional features include Daily/Weekly/Monthly open price lines, day-of-week labels, session separators, and a killzone range statistics table.

2 — Move and Pullback Finder
Scans a configurable lookback window (default: 50 bars) to find the largest upward and downward price moves. For each move, it measures the maximum pullback (retracement) that occurred within that move.

This gives you context: how far price has traveled and how deep it has pulled back, helping you gauge whether a move is extended or still has room to run.

The move size can be displayed in percentage, pips (for forex), or points.

3 — Breakout Reversal Detector
Identifies potential reversal zones using a 14-bar breakout exhaustion pattern. When the closing price exceeds the highs (or lows) of the previous 14 candles and then stops exceeding them, the indicator flags it as a “Potential Bearish Reversal” or “Potential Bullish Reversal.”

Reversal labels only print on confirmed (closed) bars using barstate.isconfirmed, which reduces false signals during live trading.

An optional RSI filter (default: length 6, OB 85, OS 15) can be enabled to add momentum confirmation to reversal signals.


█ HOW TO USE

The highest-probability setup occurs when multiple modules agree:

For Long Entries:
– Wait for an active Kill Zone session (London or NY AM preferred)
– Look for a “Potential Bullish Reversal” label below a candle
– Confirm the label appears near a Kill Zone pivot low (e.g., LO.L, NYAM.L)
– Optionally confirm with RSI oversold (OS marker)
– Enter on the next candle, stop below the session low, target the next pivot high or session open

For Short Entries:
– Wait for an active Kill Zone session
– Look for a “Potential Bearish Reversal” label above a candle
– Confirm the label appears near a Kill Zone pivot high (e.g., LO.H, AS.H)
– Optionally confirm with RSI overbought (OB marker)
– Enter on the next candle, stop above the session high, target the next pivot low

Best timeframes: 1-minute to 15-minute charts.
Best sessions for trading: London and NY AM (highest volume and follow-through).
Avoid: NY Lunch session (12:00-13:00) tends to produce choppy, unreliable signals.

Day-Week-Month — Open lines, high/low lines, separators for D/W/M timeframes.
Opening Prices — Up to 8 custom time-based open price lines.
Timestamps — Up to 4 vertical time markers.
Move Finder — Lookback length, display mode (%, pips, points), pullback visibility.
Reversal Detector — Historical lines, line extension, wick-based support/resistance.
Price Label — Real-time price display with offset controls.
Signal Labels — Show/hide bullish or bearish signals independently.
RSI Confirmation — Enable RSI filter, customize source, length, OB/OS levels.
Entry Signals — Show/hide long and short entry markers.

– Kill Zone pivots settle once a session closes. During an active session, the high/low levels update in real time.
– Best suited for intraday timeframes (1m to 15m). Session boxes lose meaning on higher timeframes.
